The Two Questions That Can Save a Marriage

by Owen Marcus on May 15, 2009

Laughing couple. There is a great short video where Alison Armstrong speaks about the two questions that can recover or keep a relationship fresh:

1     Is there anything you need from me that you gave up on getting?

2     Is there anything I am doing or a way of being that is losing your respect and affinity?

I can see that these questions could be appropriate for any relationship. It is very common that even friendships gradually change. One little action or lack of action can compound into a series of unspoken feelings.

There are changes that occur we might not want to occur. Keeping the communication open is the secret to vivant relationships.

What do you do to keep your relationships alive?

Nice post Owen. Unspoken for sure, and even a step back from that, Un-acknowledged feelings.

John,

Un-acknowledged feelings can certainly sabotage any relationship.
