blogactionday.org is an international blog taking on poverty by asking bloggers to write about it on October 15.
Changing global poverty begins with changing personal poverty. In the developed countries we may not be starving for food, yet we often are for the essence of life. When we shift our prospective from scarcity to one of abundance we shift from wanting to save the world to change it. Saving often perpetuates the problem, change can transform the problem down to its cause.
I need to look within myself for where I am poor. When I can move forward in the face of my personal poverty I don’t judge or fix other’s poverty - I enter into co-creation to heal it.
